Alberta iGaming registry — month three

Reporting period: 13 September – 13 October 2026 · Issue 3 · Published

This is the third monthly record of what changed on Alberta's public gambling register and on the regulator-approved site list. Unit, as in issue 2: the register is counted as 54 brand rows across 40 legal entities in class iGaming - Operator. "Live" means a brand with a card on the AiGC approved-sites directory on two consecutive daily passes.

The headline

Ten brands went live in a month, the most since the launch batch, and eight of the ten belong to two companies. As of 13 October, 37 of the 54 registered brands are live in Alberta. Twenty went live in July, the launch month; five in August; five in September; seven in the first thirteen days of October. Seventeen registered brands still have no public Alberta product counted as live.

Of the ten, two are sportsbooks (Betway and PowerPlay); the other eight are casino-only brands.

Who went live

Against the AiGC approved-sites directory, live brand rows went from 27 to 37.

One directory card changed its name in the period: on 8 October the card "Caesars Palace Casino" was gone and a card "Caesars Palace Online Casino" stood in the same position with the same address. It is recorded as a rename of one brand, not as a removal and an addition. Two cards changed their address the same day (FanDuel Casino, Ruby Fortune); addresses are not counted.

13 October, the last day of the period — six cards appeared in one pass, the largest single directory change since the launch batch: Luxury Casino (Apollo's seventh and last registered brand); Mega Casino, PlayOJO, Slots Magic and SpinGenie (all four of Skill On Net Ltd.'s registered brands); and Stake (Stake Canada Ltd., whose register row carries no operating-as name; the card name matches the entity's title). Under the two-pass rule none of the six counts as live in this issue: as of 13 October they are candidates, seen on one pass. The directory went from 41 cards to 47 in that one change. What the 14 October pass showed is reported in the next issue.

Registrations — the operator layer moved on three export dates, none of them a launch

Issue 2 reported an operator layer that did not change for a month. In this period the iGaming - Operator rows changed on three export dates:

The iGaming - Operator row count went from 38 to 41 (the register's own count of rows in that class; the brand-row unit above is 54). Entities first seen in the export after the series began on 14 July: Cadway Limited (15 July), TWHG Inc. (4 August), GG International Limited o/a GG Poker (12 August), Blueberry (Alberta) Ltd. (13 August), Stake Canada Ltd. (24 September) — five; one of them, Cadway, is live. First appearance in this archive is not a registration date; the export carries none.

Outside the operator layer, the full export went from 360 rows on 12 September to 365 on 9 October. New rows: Eternia Trading Limited (iGaming goods or services supplier, 16 September); Scientific Games, LLC (critical gaming systems provider, 19 September); Rebels Sports Ltd. (raffle supplier, 29 September — see below); 2641969 Alberta Ltd. o/a Peak Casino Advisors (gaming worker supplier, 2 October); GrayJay Web Solutions Inc. o/a GrayJay Sports (raffle supplier, 7 October); 1023576 Alberta Ltd. o/a River Cree (electronic raffle system supplier, 8 October). Renewals in place: Digital Adrenaline (8 December 2026 → 8 December 2029, 24 September); Incredible Technologies (12 October 2026 → 12 January 2027, 8 October). Field edits with no change of registrant: one advisor's surname re-spelled (24 September) and another's middle name dropped (7 October); stream values added on four rows (McNalley 24 September; Linkion Boodram 2 October; GrayJay and Rosewood Fundraising 8 October). One advisor row left on 14 September (Brenda Lee Doupe) and has not returned.

The register's own noise — and a correction to issue 2

Issue 2 reported, under 3 September, "one Advisor – Dual registration removed and absent on every export since … the first removal in the series that held past the two-day rule." That row (Lyle Robert (Bob) Harding, first seen 25 July) returned in the 9 October export after eighteen archived exports without it, with its expiry field blank where it had read 2 October 2030. The sentence in issue 2 is superseded today by a dated correction on its page; the text is not rewritten.

A second row did the same inside this period: eQube Technology and Software Inc. (bingo and pull-ticket supplier) was absent from four exports between 29 September and 7 October and returned on 8 October with its expiry moved from 30 October 2026 to 30 October 2028. In the export, an absence during a renewal looks exactly like a removal.

Rule from this issue on: the two-day rule closes a removal for iGaming - Operator rows only — no operator row has left and returned in 45 archived exports. For every other class, a row that leaves is recorded as "absent as of <date>" and is never closed. Rows in that state at 9 October: Rebel Sports Ltd. (absent since 25 September, its expiry date; a row "Rebels Sports Ltd." with the same stream and class and a 25 November 2026 expiry appeared on 29 September, a different archive, so it is not recorded as a re-title), Authorized Security Ltd. (absent since 1 October; expiry 30 September), Cheryl Anela Epp (advisor, absent since 1 October), Brenda Lee Doupe (advisor, absent since 14 September), Givergy Ltd. (absent since 18 July).

Two duplicate rows closed in the period: a second identical row for one advisor, present in every export since 27 July, collapsed to one on 8 October, after 73 days; a second row for Eternia Trading Limited appeared on 17 September, one day after the row itself, and was gone on 26 September.

Expiry dates — what the register does when a date passes

Fifteen row instances in the whole series carried an expiry date on or before 13 October, the close of this period. Nine were renewed in place on or before the date. One left the export on its expiry date (Rebel Sports). Two left on the first export after it (Givergy; Authorized Security). Two are still listed past their date: LNW Gaming Canada Ltd. and LNW Gaming, Inc., expiry 22 September, present in every one of the ten exports archived since. One row's date moved backwards and forwards: MNP LLP read 12 August 2027 until 5 August, 12 October 2026 from 7 August, and 12 August 2027 again from 24 September. None was re-titled. Counts, not a rate: fifteen rows is fifteen rows.

The gap nobody publishes

Of 54 registered brand rows as of 13 October, 37 are live, 2 have announced a launch, 1 has stated a later date, and 14 have shown no public sign of launching — six of those 14 appeared on the directory on 13 October, the period's last day, and are counted as candidates, not live (above).

Issue 2 had 27 live and 21 with no public sign, of 53. The register added one brand row (Stake Canada) and the directory added ten live brands. The seventeen rows without a live product belong to fourteen entities: Skill On Net Ltd. holds four of them (megacasino.ca, playojo.ca, slotsmagic.ca, spingenie.ca — the register names these brands by domain); the other thirteen entities hold one each.

Concentration

Apollo Entertainment Limited stands behind 7 brand rows, 6 of them live; Cadtree Limited 4, all live; Skill On Net Ltd. 4, none live; Bally's Canada, Inc. and ElectraWorks Maple Limited 2 each, all live; 35 entities carry one row each. Of the ten brands that went live this month, eight came from two of these five entities.

By product: 22 brand rows are sportsbook-capable, 27 are casino-only, 5 are unclassified because AGLC publishes no operating-as name for them (issue 2 had 4; Stake Canada is the fifth). Of the 37 live rows, 16 are sportsbook-capable and 21 casino-only.

Method note — two passes, two classes

Eight of the ten brands that went live in this issue were recorded live only after their card had appeared on two consecutive daily passes of the directory, the rule from issue 2 for a brand with no prior record: Golden Tiger Casino, Spin Casino, the three Apollo brands of 8 October, JackpotCity, Yukon Gold and Zodiac each stood one day in public as a candidate before being counted, and the six cards of 13 October stand as candidates at the close of this issue. Betway and PowerPlay, whose launches were already recorded as announced, were counted on the first pass, as that rule provides. The removal rule was narrowed this month as described above, after two rows returned. Both rules are visible in the tracker changelog with their dates.

Method and reuse
