BET99 overview for Alberta bettors
BET99 launched in Canada with a clear Canada-first strategy: Canadian-dollar operations (Alberta terms 10.2) and an English/French site. BET99's Alberta site is run by 2786638 Alberta Inc., doing business as BET99, from Edmonton (Alberta terms, last updated 28 September 2026); it is registered with the AGLC, and the site's own footer describes it as licensed and regulated by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission and contracted by Alberta iGaming Corporation. In Ontario, 1000007698 Ontario Ltd (Bet 99) is one of the regulated operators contracted by iGaming Ontario (per the iGaming Ontario public register, retrieved 2026-10-18).Sports markets and Canadian focus
Per BET99's Alberta sports betting rules (retrieved 2026-10-20), its settlement rules name the NHL and WHL among North American hockey leagues, NCAA college football and basketball, and boxing, MMA and UFC. The betting pages themselves were not captured, so market depth is not verified here.BET99 mobile app
The Canadian App Store and Google Play listings for BET99 are published by 1000007698 Ontario Ltd and their descriptions do not name Alberta, so no store rating is quoted as an Alberta rating; the iOS release note of 19 October 2026 reads 'Alberta changes and UI enhancements' (retrieved 2026-10-20). BET99's Alberta terms allow cash out on selected events and markets, pre-live and live, on singles and parlays (terms 10.13).Banking: deposits and withdrawals
BET99's Alberta terms (last updated 28 September 2026) show the minimum deposit per method in the Deposit tab rather than in the terms, require the depositing account to be in your name, and require deposits to be wagered once before withdrawal. All bets and payouts are in Canadian dollars, and winnings are capped at $100,000 per sports bet slip. The Alberta withdrawal policy (retrieved 2026-10-20) says withdrawals are processed within 1 business day, with funds arriving in 3–5 business days depending on the method; the terms allow up to five business days of internal processing. No per-method times and no fees are published. Verification asks for a driver's licence, passport or Alberta ID card and a proof of address no more than three months old; the payout account must be yours.Customer support
BET99's Alberta site offers 24/7 live chat and email support ([email protected]), with email replies within 24 hours; disputes are adjudicated under Alberta law and can be escalated to the AGLC (Contact Us, retrieved 2026-10-20). The site and its terms are published in English and French; no Alberta document says that support itself is offered in French. My verdict: is BET99 worth it in Alberta?
BET99 is AGLC-registered and live in Alberta, and its Alberta site publishes a withdrawal policy (processed within 1 business day, funds in 3–5 business days by method), deposit terms and 24/7 live chat and email support; no archived document states a minimum deposit, a method list or a fee. Rating changed from 3.6 to 4.0 on 20 October 2026. Our 6 September rating held BET99 lower because two weaknesses were recorded as facts: it was not yet live in Alberta, and it published no Alberta-scoped deposit, withdrawal or support terms. BET99 went live on 15 October, and its Alberta withdrawal policy, terms and conditions (last updated 28 September 2026) and contact page do state withdrawal, deposit and support rules, so neither weakness stands. There is no commercial link on this page; the change is unrelated to any affiliate arrangement. Always bet responsibly — Alberta Health Services 1-866-332-2322.Strengths
