DAZN Bet's Alberta registration sits with DZBT Marketing Limited, which carries the class iGaming - Operator in AGLC's gaming-registrants database, with a registration expiry of July 13, 2027. I have archived every version of that list since the market opened, and the row is unchanged in all twenty-five of them, from July 14 to September 1, 2026 — never amended, re-dated or withdrawn.
The live layer is separate. DAZN Bet holds a card in the AiGC approved-sites directory — the Alberta iGaming Corporation's own list of operators cleared to take Alberta play — titled "DAZN Bet Sportsbook and Casino" and pointing to ab.daznbet.ca. I first recorded it on 2026-07-14 and it has been present at every check since, most recently 2026-09-01.

Products and markets
Three Alberta-scoped sources agree that the offer covers both verticals: the AiGC card is titled "Sportsbook and Casino"; the Alberta site describes itself as "Online Betting & Casino"; and for the same legal entity one province over, iGaming Ontario lists DAZN Bet under both Casino and Sports Betting. I classify the brand as covering both streams on that basis.
Beyond that classification I have no independently verified detail on the Alberta product's market depth — which leagues carry player props, how deep live betting runs, whether Canadian junior hockey is priced — so I make no claims about it here. One supplier relationship is on the record: Yogonet reported on 2026-08-11 that DAZN Bet launched in Ontario and Alberta on Altenar's sportsbook technology, with on-record quotes from executives at both companies, and Altenar Software Limited does hold its own AGLC registration as an iGaming - Critical Gaming Systems Provider with the same July 13, 2027 expiry. That corroborates the supplier being registered to operate in Alberta. It says nothing about what the sportsbook actually prices, and I do not treat it as if it did.
Platform and app
I could not test the actual product. The Alberta site only loads its content for signed-in players from a closed system, so this review makes no claims about the platform, the app, payments, or support, and quotes no app-store ratings. A page that opens is not the same as a product I can see, and I do not report it as one. What is documentable is the licensed record behind the brand, and it is the reason DAZN Bet is rated where it is rather than at the floor for operators I cannot inspect:

- Ontario. iGaming Ontario's directory of the province's regulated market lists DZBT Marketing Limited — the same registered name that holds the Alberta registration, with no spelling variance at all — operating the gaming site DAZN Bet in the Casino and Sports Betting categories, at on.daznbet.ca. The directory states it is accurate as of 2026-09-01 and covers 49 operators across 84 gaming websites; checked 2026-09-02 — iGaming Ontario operator directory.
That is a regulated operating history in two other jurisdictions, verified in both regulators' own registers. It is not evidence about the Alberta product, and I do not treat it as such.
Payments and support
Not verified. The deposit methods, withdrawal processing times and support hours that apply to an Alberta account are shown only to signed-in players, and DAZN Bet publishes no Alberta help centre I could reach. The quick-facts box records them as unverified rather than carrying figures copied from DAZN Bet's UK, Spanish or German products, which are different companies' terms in different regulatory regimes and are not the Alberta terms.
Corporate background
Two entity names are documented, each in a regulator's own record. DZBT Marketing Limited holds the AGLC registration and is named identically by iGaming Ontario — that much is one company, evidenced twice. DZBT Limited, registered office in Zebbug, Malta, is the UK licensee whose active trading names include "dazn bet". The names are similar and the brand is common to both, but similarity is not a corporate relationship, and no public filing I have checked establishes one.
The same applies upward. The ultimate-parent column of my registry dataset is empty for DAZN Bet and stays empty. That column records corporate ownership I can cite, not corporate ownership I can infer from a shared brand.
I could not verify payments, support or the product itself — see “Platform and app” above. Those are limits of my inspection, not findings against DAZN Bet, which is why they are not listed among the weaknesses below.

DAZN Bet takes full marks on the last one, and takes them on the best evidence I hold for any operator on this site: two provincial regulators naming the identical registered company, an AGLC registration that has not moved in twenty-five consecutive registration lists, and an AiGC card present at every check since the market opened.
On market depth, payments and payout speed, and support there is no verified Alberta evidence at all, and a rating cannot credit what has not been checked. That combination puts DAZN Bet at 4.0/5. Its standing in Alberta is the equal of any operator I have written up and on one point marginally better: two provincial regulators name the identical registered company, with none of the spelling variance I have had to reconcile elsewhere. What keeps the score from going higher is the licensed record behind the brand — two active UK remote licences against BetVictor's five, the sports-betting one only from May 2022, and held by DZBT Limited rather than by the DZBT Marketing Limited that Alberta actually registered. The score moves in either direction as evidence arrives.
