What sits behind a login or the cashier is not verified here. I record what is verified, and leave the rest blank rather than fill it with plausible-sounding detail.

Tonybet is on AGLC's iGaming Operator registrant list under the legal entity Tonybet Northpoint Limited, classified as covering both the sportsbook and casino streams (verified against the 2026-07-10 AGLC registrant PDF). It is also in the AiGC approved-sites directory — the Alberta iGaming Corporation's own list of operators cleared to take Alberta play — with a card titled "Tonybet Sportsbook & Casino" pointing to tonybetalberta.ca. Both layers are re-checked on every refresh and dated in the AGLC tracker.

Tonybet announced day-one participation in the July 13 market open, and its directory card has been present at every check since I began tracking the AiGC list on 2026-07-14. Registration and live status are two separate things on this site, and Tonybet clears both.
Products and markets
The Alberta registration and the directory listing both cover sportsbook and casino, so both verticals are in scope for Alberta players. Beyond that classification I have no independently verified detail on the Alberta product's market depth — which leagues carry player props, how deep live betting runs, whether Canadian junior hockey is priced — so I make no claims about it here. When that detail is verifiable, it goes in this section with the date it was checked.
Platform and app
Tonybet publishes a dedicated Alberta app, Tonybet Alberta: Casino & Bets, on the Canadian App Store — released 19 July 2026 and updated to version 1.2 on 28 August 2026 (checked 2026-09-03). It carries no user ratings yet, so there is no score for me to quote. I found no Alberta app on Google Play's Canadian store, where Tonybet lists its Ontario app only. Tonybet publishes no list of payment methods: its FAQ says the available methods are displayed in the cashier after you log in. Minimum deposits vary by payment method and are shown in the cashier after login (Tonybet FAQ), so the quick-facts box records the minimum deposit as not verified. Two points the public pages do make: the FAQ's answers on withdrawals refer to Interac, and section 4.7 of the terms prohibits the use of credit cards for gambling.
Withdrawals: under section 5.4 of Tonybet's Alberta terms and conditions, the operator aims to process a withdrawal within 48 hours once its verification checks are complete, and that timeframe does not include delays at the financial institutions involved. The FAQ describes the typical time as “usually within an hour or less” — the operator's own statement, not tested here. Withdrawals are paid to the payment method used to deposit (terms, section 5.2), and the refund policy says refunds are processed via the same payment methods used to deposit, in the same currency.

Daily limits reset after 24 hours, weekly limits after 7 days and monthly limits after a month from when they were set; where limits overlap, the lowest applies. A decrease takes effect immediately, while an increase or removal takes effect only after a 24-hour cool-off period.
Corporate background
The AGLC-registered entity is Tonybet Northpoint Limited: that is the name in AGLC's gaming-registrants database (class iGaming - Operator, expiry July 13, 2027; export of 2026-09-23). Tonybet's own Alberta terms and conditions name the operator as Tonybet Northpoint Limited, registration number C 114654, with a registered address in Birkirkara, Malta, and the footer of its Alberta site names it as “TONYBET NORTHPOINT LLC (registered in Malta as Tonybet Northpoint Limited), Alberta corporate access no. 2128131790”. Both forms are recorded here as each source states them. No public corporate filing tying the registered Alberta entity to a larger listed group has been found, which is why the ultimate-parent column of my registry dataset is intentionally empty for this brand rather than filled with an assumption.
My verdict
My ★ score is an editorial judgement, not a calculation. It considers five factors: sports-market depth, platform and app quality, payments and payout speed, customer support, and licensing and compliance — and gives credit only where a source exists. Tonybet scores at the top on the last one — AGLC-registered, AiGC-approved, live since the market opened, and running a dedicated Alberta product rather than pointing Albertans at an international site. On market depth and customer support there is no verified Alberta evidence yet. On payments and payout speed the evidence is partial: the withdrawal window and withdrawal limits are sourced from Tonybet's public Alberta terms (2026-09-24), while minimum deposits and payment methods sit behind the cashier. A rating cannot credit what has not been checked.
That combination puts Tonybet ahead of the AGLC-registered operators that are not yet taking Alberta bets, and behind the live operators whose platforms carry a documented track record in other regulated markets.
